Luna Pictures is a full-house production studio in Sydney, Australia. Founded in May 2025, their mission is to give emerging artists the chance to tell their stories, no matter their financial constraints. The client wanted to have a logomark and logotype for their identity. They specifically wanted to have a moon in their logo and something that represents what they are offering, which is film production and VFX.
Logomark
I started with a few options.
The client agreed on this version.
Logotype
Then comes the logotype. The client wanted to have the moon embedded into the logotype, so I also experimented a bunch.
The client approved this version.
Color & Typography
Black and white are the colors for this project.
I initially tried a bunch of typography to see which fits best with the moon, and the client approved the SVN Gilroy font as the final font.
Branding System
I then created a branding system at the client’s request.
